Our clients are: 1) a leading publicly listed distributor of building materials (ceramic wall, floor and roof tiles, sanitary and cement products) under respectable brands with 22 branch offices and over 500 employees in key cities and, 2) a retail chain specializing on building materials and home accessories and improvements with 20 stores and over 200 employees nationwide. These companies are now challenged with growing their turnover/profitability from existing and prospective product lines, standardizing business processes and implement cost efficiency measures in order to improve its market shares and industry standing. They have immediate requirements for the position of:

Managing Director (2)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and guide overall operations, allocating resources efficiently and effectively and accountable for revenue/P & L.
• Develop strategy and direction for the company, including leadership to senior management.
• Lead, motivate and build a strong team to achieve the company’s objectives.
• Initiate business development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 40; has developed his career in a marketing and distribution within the building material, consumer goods or pharmaceutical environments at B2B channels; at least 15 years of relevant experience in the above sectors.
• Strategic thinker and ability to spearhead expansion and find synergies and innovation in the company’s core businesses and branch network.
• Dedicated and dynamic leader who is resourceful, proactive and systematic
